    Catalog Description:

Ansonia Clock Co. "Regent" with matching pair of Candelabra, ca 1904. Another very large and rare clock that is almost never offered for sale, particularly with the 2 matching candelabra. This very heavy clock ismade of both brass and some metal with brass finish. As you can tell everything is a brass-gold color except the black numerals and hands. The entire clock and side pieces are made up of intricately cast pieces, bolted and screwedtogether to form these beautiful pieces. Even the dial, sash, escape wheelbridge are all cast and match the case body perfectly. The 8 day movementstrikes a gong on the half hours, and since it was recently serviced, isrunning just as a clock this exquisite should. It has an original pendulumand key. This large clock is 22-1/2 inches high, same as the candelabras.Ly-Ansonia No. 1548, No. 1550.
